With over twenty years in education and educational management, KNECT Kids understands the importance of unlocking the basic rights of learning for every child and works hard to find the unique key that fits each need.
Certification in Reading and Math Programs
KNECT Kids tutors are trained in Lindamood-Bell Learning Programs that are research based reading and math interventions. The reading programs focus on developing symbol imagery which enables children to connect the letters and sounds (phonics) to make larger and more complex combinations.
Before they know it, students will be reading independently with increased self esteem and interest. Tutors work with students to gain fluency and comprehension in their reading. Students who work on increasing their math skills will find success through scaffolded lessons based on their current skill and grade level expectations.
What to expect at KNECT Kids
KNECT Kids believes in creating a learning environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and working through challenges.
We provide ONLINE or in-person sessions for students in numerous states
We have created a work space where students will always be visible through glass partitions, have the flexibility to work in a variety of ways (standing, sitting, etc) and engage in a variety of activities each hour.
Every staff member will be vetted by completing background checks through a local school district or directly through law enforcement.
1-hour lessons include 55 minutes of lesson and 5 minutes of paperwork/transition
Small group lessons will include expectations of equity, respect, and inclusion
